Id also run those drivers as administrator too) (I would try that last suggestion right at the bottom, the one that suggests a manual installation by going to the gpu manufacturers website and manually download the drivers.

I think this is your problem, so it would be a good idea to try and fix this first.Ī quick google search came up with this: Really strange, I have no idea what it means. Tried updating my GPU drivers only to be told I need an "interactive window" or something. I have tried both the 64-bit and the regular current updates of GZDoom and both give me the same result. Does anyone know if the operating system affects the source ports any? Because I got it running with minimal effort on my Windows 8 desktop but my 64-bit Windows 10 laptop can barely even get it working. My laptop can play games just fine, and I have gotten GZDoom to run before with the help of ZDL. In other words, it ain't working, at least not coherently. I tried putting it in full screen but that just messed up my computer's resolution. When I try interacting with the game, it turns into a yellow lightshow and the menu options keep flickering to where I can't really see them. What ends up happening is that the game occupies a very small window and it starts flickering.

Lately I have been trying to get GZDoom to work on my new laptop but for some reason it barely functions. In the past I have used GZDoom as a reliable source port to play different Doom mods, Brutal Doom and Pirate Doom to name a couple.
